Life in the Sonoran Desert | Part One: Desert Landscapes
I’m excited to announce a new film project I am working on! It is going to be a short filmĀ about the biodiversity of the Sonoran Desert, and how, though it may look uninhabited and barren, it is far from that! Wildlife abounds here if you just take the time to see! I want to really immerse the viewers into the middle of the desert, and show how it comes alive if you just sit still and notice the life all around you. I am calling it: “Life in the Sonoran Desert”
Along the way, I will be releasing short “Behind the Scenes” looks at what goes into producing a film like this. The first thing I’ve set out to do, is capture some scenic desert landscapes to set the tone for the intro to the film. In this episode, I am setting out to capture several specific landscape shots that I want at the beginning of this new short film. It is going to take several different shoots to capture the footage I need to produce this short, so I decided to bring you along with me for each one. I will be releasing a behind the scenes look at each shoot as I capture the various story elements I need for this project!
This is Part One: Desert Landscapes! So, stay tuned for the next one! Once all of the footage has been captured, I will release “Life In The Sonoran Desert” here for you all to see!
