WELCOME TO FILMING THE WILD!

Filming The Wild is going to be an ongoing series that explores wildlife, conservation, and wildlife filmmaking. Every month, I will produce a series of films, the first being a conservation short that really dives into the fascinating world of a particular species or habitat, followed by a video that explains all of the behind the scenes goodies that went into producing the first film. It’s going to be a fun adventure.

One of the main reasons I have launched this series is mainly because I strongly believe that film is a powerful way to connect people back to nature. One of my personal missions in life is to help people fall in love with nature the way that I have, and the best way that I know how to do this, is through film. There are so many people that just simply don’t have the opportunity to get outside and explore the beauty of the outdoors, or see wildlife, and film can be that vessel that can connect a world they would never otherwise be able to explore.

Along the way, I will be sharing some tips, and advice that I’ve learned along this journey into wildlife filmmaking. One of my goals is to help people who are starting off with very little or no knowledge of filmmaking. I learned by trial and error, and quite frankly, I am still learning. However, if I can share some of the things that I’ve learned with you, hopefully it will help you get on the path much quicker than it took me!

Well I hope you enjoy this series! Be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel if you haven’t already done so!! Here’s the link to subscribe: https://bit.ly/34t0eJ4 You can also catch the very first video here: https://filmingthewild.com/?p=52
